It is our pleasure to welcome you to the Mercure Budapest City Center Hotel. We will do our best to make your stay pleasant and unforgettable. You will duly find all necessary information about our services in this booklet. In case of any further requests, our Colleagues at the Reception are at your disposal at any time, day or night.

Reception

CONCIERGE SERVICES
Please call the Reception in any of the following cases, we are more than happy to help: messages, sightseeing tours, ticket booking, programs, rent a car, rent a bike, transfer service, taxi booking, currency exchange, medical services, pharmacy, IT support.

CHECK-IN
The room can be occupied from 15:00. In case of an earlier arrival, luggage can be stored in the hotel’s luggage room.

EXPRESS CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT
Check-in online 48h before you arrival. Our team will have carefully prepared for your arrival and your room key will be ready! Fast check-out; return your key without having to wait: Your check-out is complete. Your invoice will be sent by e-mail after departure. For detailed information please contact our colleagues at reception.

DEPARTURE, LUGGAGE ROOM, PORTERAGE
Individual guests may use rooms until noon on the day of departure; groups may have access to their rooms until 10 am on the day of departure. We offer luggage room all day long, porterage upon request. The hotel does not take responsibility for not properly closed luggage.

BREAKFAST
The Panorama Restaurant on floor „C” offers a rich, delicious and healthy buffet breakfast, plus an exquisite view of Váci utca.
Opening hours:
Weekdays: 6:30 am – 10 am
Weekends and public holidays: 7 am – 11 am
Should you wish to have breakfast in your room, hang up “breakfast order form” outside your door until midnight.

BAR
It is located downstairs in the lobby.
Opening hours: 10:00 – 22:00

RESTAURANT
WineStone Restaurant is located on the ground floor. We offer international and Hungarian dishes, even balanced and healthy food.
Opening hours:
Every day 12:00 – 22:00

ROOM SERVICE
We are more than happy to serve our tasty dishes in your room between 6:30 and 22:00. Please click the button below to check our menu. Dishes marked with „24h” in the Menu are available during nighttime.

Room

NON-SMOKING ROOM
All the guest-rooms are non-smoking. Smoking is allowed only on the terrace and next to the main entrance at the designated smoking areas. As we care of the convenience of the next guests staying in our hotel, in case of disrespect we will take the right to charge 150 Euros cleaning fee. Thank you for not smoking!

SAFEBOX
All rooms are equipped with safe deposit boxes free of charge, which can be operated with a personalized secure code. The hotel is not responsible for valuables left in your room. A safe is at your disposal in your room and also at the Reception.

INTERNET
Free WiFi system is available in the hotel rooms and in all public areas. Computer in the Lobby can be used also free of charge.

AIR CONDITIONING
In the summer you can control the temperature with individual thermostats During the heating season temperature can be set with the thermostat on the radiator.

LAUNDRY AND DRY CLEANING
The service is available at your disposal from Monday to Saturday, except holidays. You will get back your laundry on the same day until 6 pm if you hand it over until 9 am. Please call Reception and please use the laundry bag and fill out the online form here:

ROOM CLEANING
Every day from 08:00 to 16:00. If the “Do not Disturb” sign is placed outside the door, our colleagues will not disturb you. You can indicate your separate cleaning request by placing the “Clean me” sign.

MINIBAR
For a fee, you can use the minibar in the room. The minibar is empty by default and you can request a fill up by the Reception. The content of the minibar is monitored and replaced by the housekeepers once daily. The pricelist can be found here on the website. Please inform the reception about your last day minibar consumption upon check-out. For our guests 1 bottle of non-carbonated mineral water is available in the room on the table free of charge.

You can find in the small cabinet.

KEY CARD
You can open the hotel room door with a room card what you get at the reception upon check in. Please place the card in the plastic box on the inside wall next to the room door to switch on the room electricity. Please, when you leave the room, remove your card from the plastic box. The card is valid until 12.00 on the day of departure.

BLANKETS
All hotel rooms have a wardrobe with extra blankets. On request, call the front desk!

MEETING ROOMS
Our hotel offers a Board Room equipped with the most up-to-date facilities and 4 air conditioned meeting rooms with natural light. The following services are available for the events: TV, telephone, fax, photocopier, printer, computer, wired and wireless Internet access, projector, microphone and flip chart. For further information please contact our Colleagues at the Reception.

IRONING ROOM
Our ironing room is available on the 6th floor, room 644. Access and electricity are ensured with your keycard.

SHOE SHINE MACHINES
Shoe cleaning equipment is available 24 hours for our guests on every guest room floor.

PARKING
Our hotel provides payable, not guarded parking spaces.

NON-SMOKING HOTEL
Smoking is prohibited throughout the hotel as required by law. Designated smoking area is located in front of the main entrance. In case of violation of this rule, a penalty of € 150 will be payable in addition to the penalty that may be incurred.

PRIVILÈGE SERVICE
Try and enjoy the advantages of our upgraded facilities. Privilege rooms offer you a wide range of extra services such as: 10% discount on services (breakfast, bar consumption, laundry service, garage, minibar consumption, phone calls), Nespresso coffee machine, bathrobe, slippers, full range of amenities, late checkout until 4 pm (upon availability), Privilege Lounge access.

PRIVILÈGE LOUNGE
We have a specially designed Privilege Lounge on the ”F” level available for our guests staying in Privilege rooms or Suites. It is open every day between 7:00 and 17:00. Access is ensured with your keycard. You can enjoy the following services:
- Tea and coffee making facilities, soft drinks, fresh fruits during the opening hours
- „Happy snack hours” every day from 15:00 to 17:00
- Free access to computer/Internet and printing facilities
- Privilege Lounge is the perfect place to arrange your business activities in pleased surroundings and relax after a long day.

ACCESSIBILITY FOR DISABLED GUESTS
Our hotel is accessible by wheelchair. In the lobby a disabled toilet is available. The hotel has four disabled rooms.

CHILDCARE TOOLS, SERVICES
Depending on our capacity, we can provide the following facilities: high chair in the restaurant, baby cot, baby bedding, baby bottle warmer, baby dinner set, baby toilet reducer, baby chamber.

SECURITY SYSTEM
Our hotel has a video surveillance and recording system. Security services are available from 22:00 to 8:00 in the case of personal and property protection.

In case of medical problems, you can ask for medical help at the reception. Thermometer and sticking plaster can also be requested at the reception.

220V / 50Hz alternating voltage (AC) is available everywhere in the building. An adapter for other voltages can be requested at the reception. It is FORBIDDEN to operate cooking devices in the Rooms.”

FITNESS ROOM
It’s on the ground floor. It can be reached by a separate elevator located in front of the rooms: 124-724, 017 and 027. Opening Hours 7:00am-21:00pm The room key opens the door. The Rules of the Fitness usage are located inside.

In our hotel you can pay with cash (HUF, EUR), bank and credit card (VISA, AMEX, Maestro, Eurocard / MasterCard, JCB, Diners).

MASSAGE
Located in the Fitness area on the ground floor but it is possible to order it in the room For reservation, schedule and pricelist please turn to the Reception. 90 minutes pre-booking time required.

PETS
Our hotel accepts pets for extra charge, please contact the reception about the fees.

MAINTENANCE
If you have any equipment that is in need of repair, damaged, inoperable or inadequate, please contact the reception desk.

There are four elevators in the hotel. Please do not use elevators in an emergency or in case of fire!
